I got this heil on a trade. I think it is about 4-5 years old. Never flown. It has 800's and an older canopy that looked to be hand laid and cut out. Canopy is pretty rough on the inside. The airframe seems to be nearly the same as the current Intrepids. The boom seems pretty long and the main blades clear the tail blades by at least 6". Any help would be great...

well, you definately have a Bergen Intrepid there. I can't tell from your pic of it's the EB or not. How long is the boom? It also looks like you are missing the horizontal tail fin. It attaches to the top of the clamp that is supporting the boom struts.

The boom is just a tic over 36". That is just the tube, not including the tail gear box. Also, the tail gear box is pretty large and painted black, not silver like in the manual. Thanks for the reply!

Looks like an EB to me, the give away is the 800 blades. The gearbox is the industrial gearbox.
