I have a Raptor 30 V2 ARF...when I turn the main gear by hand..it locks the blades in turning clockwise and spins freely counter-clock-wise.....should it do this....which way should the blades be spinnning.

From the pictures I have seen the blades seem to be on the right way ...just turning the wrong way??

The blades spin clockwise when viewed from above, the tail should spin counter clockwise when viewed from the right (the tail rotor would kick dirt towards the front of the heli if it hit the dirt.

You are probably just seeing the effect of the autorotation bearing, you should be able to spin the blades clockwise and they should spin freely. When the engine is turning the gears it should work correctly.

Yes. That is what happens when the engine is turning the blades and freewheels when the autohub is not engaged.

Leading edge of blade over the nose should face to the heli's right.
