Not today. I am more anxious than any of you. Even I am waiting on a 13T 600 pinion so I can try my new Neu 1910/1Y.

Since you planed to to let us order and pay before you had the pinions in your hands, i don't understand you didn't used a shipping method alowing you to have online tracking. Pinions are very small parts so the package is probaly not so big. My opinion is you didn't secured enough this operation. It will probably ends OK but imagine it's not the case?! You was supposed to receive them at the begining of the week... I hope god likes flying his Lepton too so he will not autorized fate to to make us wait too long for this pinions :)

rotodingo: I am waiting in line just like you, but did you not know before you bought the pinions that he did not physicaly have them? Because he was pretty clear when he opend the web site that the pinions had not been reveived. My point is "buyer beware"

Yes i knew they was on the way but not arrived. I was in the idea they was shipped via UPS or EMS or something giving him a very reliable shipping delays and tracking. Looks like a cheap shipping method was used. My opinion: it's not the good option when you make customers paid first... Of course, if it works, nobody will know but look at the situation right now. It's not a murder, not even a big amount of money but i'm not what you can call "happy". I'm more dispointed. That's all. I don't want a refund, i want the pinions i ordered and paid. Sounds logical to me... I'm not denying that it's a good thing that somebody finaly proposed pinions for the Lepton.

Well, I don't think you guys should be complaining. Adrian said he would be happy to give you your money back. I don't see you guys jumping on that offer, BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE IS MAKING THEM!

I don't mind the wait. What is the difference of being able to buy them next week if he didn't take orders or just waiting for them to arrive after we placed orders. He said right off the bat that they were not in. He will ship when they arrive to him.

Adrian, I just appreciate that someone is stepping up and offering pinions brother! Thank you!

CrazyKev I must concur, Adrian has been up front from the beginning. As it seems lately the shipping services are very very slow. :?

You are totally wrong. I already have brass pinions from Istvan. From 19t to 22T. He is the one to thank in the first place. But i have some test i want to do and for that i need the 23t i ordered.
I have time to do my tests right now ant that's why i'm disapointed. Later i will probably be a lot more occupied... Don't overreact. It's just that things are not going like i was hoping for it to go...

These are going to be steel pinions. I'd rather not run a brass pinion. So the only one I have to thank is Adrian.

I am sorry guys but my supplier sent them the way he always ships his stuff. Regular US Post. There is no tracking on this. I am more concerend that any of you as I am waiting on $1200 in pinons that I paid for before he shipped them.

The good thing is I have been dealing with this supplier for 6 years and he is 100% reliable. If he says he sent them then he did and I should get them very soon...I hope Monday.

Like I said if any of your are the least bit concerned let me know. I will cancel your order and your payment will be refunded immediatly.

....And I got an email from him today. My Pinion supplier is a european company and his country's postal service is telling him than AirMail which normally takes 5-7 days to the US has now slowed to 10-14 days due to new US Mail security proceedures. They are telling me no to worry until day 14 with is this Saturday.

Future shipments will be a higher level service with tracking.

I never drink alcool! Except a good beer 5 to 6 times in a year. I'm the kind of guy that likes the secured things, planified and going according to plan. And i admit it's making me nervous when things goes wrong even for a so small, foolish and cheap item. Sorry about that. Anyway we are far from the original ETA. Is the US post less reliable than the french one? Is that possible? No, no, no, i can't believe such a thing...

The pinions are here :D

I will ship them out to everyone that placed orders tomorrow. It would have been today but for some odd reason my supplier didn't include set screws and I had to find a local source for them.

Hi,
I hope your set screws are metric. As far as i remember, yes, 4mm if i'm not mistaken. You said your supplier was 100% reliable... Lets say 99% now since he forgot the set screws.
Well "alles gut endes gut" but like Louis XIV said "J'ai failli attendre!".
Lets hope they will arrive quickly and safely to all of us. you will then be forgiven

Thanks Adrian

 I'm order #2! Who was #1?

Thanks again Adrian.

I'll take some of that Florida weather. It was -2 this morning and we have 3 inches of snow coming tonight. We had 122,000 homes without power tuesday night due to an ice storm and I was one of them :( . Still 4,000 of those poeple without power today.
