It does'nt matter who's first.
I invented the Internet, Yet no one remembers :D :D
You would have thought I would have made alot of money from that?
It seems to be nice heli though....But not much from Minature Aircraft has sucked so far!!!
Their track record is pretty strong.
My money is on Will for the first RETAIL Razor flying
But look at my Avitar...That say's it all!

I am not in the running to be the first but, my Razor spun its head in anger at 3:AM today. I am still without batteries so, I powered it with a 12 volt lead-acid on the bench.
It has been a gloriously frustrating journey to get to this point. I suppose those of you who have built many other machines can do it without any instructions. I have had a great time putting together this puzzle with only a few photos to go by.

I'm allmost done with building the kit and I have to say that the instruction are very nice, there is a new instruction version on MA web site that addresses some issues, I think the date is 12-23-06 revision. There is ONLY 1 thing so far I'm not happy with, NO HORIZONTAL fin????, theres a mount but no fin, I know its useless but for 630.00, i beleve i would throw in a fin. My kit could be missing the part, but i don't see any reference to it, Can someone confirm this??
On the other hand the quality of the kit is the best so far, Every part fit without haveing to persuade it with a rubber hammer, The quality of the instruction, MA new style of Instruction are the best, I want to thank you guys for taking the time with the instructions! I have printed the instruction out on a good heavy bond paper use a good quality printer and bound them in a 3 ring binder. Good bathroom reading material.
And the new Extreme Instruction Manual, when i seen the post with the new manual I thought, It must be Christmas. Thanks you quys for updating an older design Helo with new instructons.

There is ONLY 1 thing so far I'm not happy with, NO HORIZONTAL fin????,
None of the prototypes have had a horizontal fin. It would get in way of the tail blades . The boom braces are the reason. Horizontal fin is not needed. It is not included in the kit.

I have a queston on the Head and swash, I keep a complete extreme/stratus head built and put up for quick rebuilds at the field for those un explained gravity pulls to the ground. Can some of the MA reps. confirm the changes in the razor head so I can use the extreme head? I think there is no need to build a new one unless there is alot of changes. I know the grips are 4mm and the fly bar is shorter and of course the rod lengths, I did not want to bust a bag open to measure and compare all the little pieces, But if needed I can build the new head.
Thanks

Finished with the build and hovering. Still need to dial it in a little but this baby is in the air. I received it Wednesday and have spent just about every waking moment tinkering on the build. I really like the MA quality. Build went smooth except for me melting a set of deans. Thats a wake-up POW! I also still need the canopy before I can put her through the paces. MA said they would be in after the first of the year. Pictures and video coming soon! I'm not claiming to be the first just putting it out there.

Mine was flying at 1:00am December 23rd in 30 degree weather last night, just got home from church and my beautiful 8 year old daughter took a picture, now just setup and dialing in a little more! So far I like!

I think the Razor needs one, what other kit on the market doesn't have one, looks unfinished without one, and the ion fin is straight across, small, and will not get in the way of the tail blades.
I have one on the way for mine.

The first person to fly the Razor , We are proud to Anounce , you won a chance to win a million bucks in fake money  just kidding , :badair: talking about Dedication , both of yall deserve it. what a Christmas present huh?
if you got a Ion canopy laying around , it fits pretty good if you wanna ring on it , Batteries dont like 30 degrees , keep them in a warm place before you fly , and all it good , also , in my Gallery , theres a picture showing a good way to run your antanna useing fuel tubing from the nitros , zip ties and a tube to run down the boom brace , looks cool and its away from the carbonfiber
