I installed the .03 upgrade. Everything worked fine. Please note you should also download and install the new TRex 450 and 600 models. I did not try the 450 yet but, the 600 flys noticeable better.

Follow the instructions on the Web page. Mine did not default to the correct installation folder. I changed it as per the instructions and everything worked fine. I don't remember seeing it but, I suggest you exit PhoenixRC Sim while doing the upgrade.

I also installed the new field. It looks like my club field so, it is currently my favorite venue.

Overall, nice job Phoenix!

Autos are easier to do with the new 1.03 update to.
And the trex 450 flies MUCH more like my own rex now.
About autos.
Do you "high end" pilots :D find them realistic with the 1.03 update?

I noticed after the download that my screen when starting up says "1.03" so I know I'm running the newest version. Both my downloaded and modified TREX's are still in my options for heli's. Do I need to re-install them to make the new programming work? Or is it already working for me? I really don't see much of a change other than a new field to pick from :dontknow

It says that all variants should be deleted before running the upgrade.
i did that but kept the original t-rex´s, the 450 is after that flying much more like my real rex.
I do find the real one more stable then the one on the sim tho.
Other things i notise with the upgrade is : More flapping sounds , and in my opininon easier autos
Best sim i have tried so far :D

Hi guys,

Picked up my copy of Phoenix yesterday and first impressions are great. I'm trying to get the Trex 450 to feel the same (well as similar as I can) as the real one. So far I've found that increasing the head damping to 0.8, the ground effect to 100% and the hover stability to 95% makes it feel about the same as my 450 with training gear on.

What changes have you made and how does it compare to your real 450?
