ok im looking at getting a swift with a good 3D setup, so far i have
Swift 16 Electric Helicopter Kit
NEU Motor1512/2.5D/F
Castle Creations Phoenix HV-85 (probably gonna go with the 110 instead)
Flight Power trex 600 Lipo 6s 4900mha
Futaba GY401 Gyro w/S9254 Digital Servo
i cant figure out what servos would work best. this is really what i need some input on.
thanks

9252's, or maybe the HItech 6975 or 6965?
Basically go with a digital servo with no less than say 70 oz of torque.

The rest of the setup looks great!
I am running 6S 3700's and get a good 6 minutes. The 4900's will be a bit heavier that is for sure but others here have said it is still a good combo. Go with the 110-HV as later you can use it for other helis if needed.

You can't use the Neu 1512/2.5D, it's KV is too high! 2000 rpms is only 900 rpm higher that what you should have so it's not that bad I guess! I believe the 1910-1Y on 6s whould be a hot one or the Z-Power 30-1100 from Gary at tppacks.com seems to be a rocket on 6s. Just for the record also, the Hi-tec 5475 digitals work really well and are quite crash worthy.
Ask me how I know!
