I was wondering if when I run in idel up1 and 2 do I need a differnt setting than the one for my normal mode.I also am wanting to know since my idel up is on a differnt switch than gyro do I have to flip the gyro switch to like idle up too when i switch to idel up 2 or can I just leave the gyro switch alone and use the normal setting when I am switching from normal to idle one and 2 . This is on a trex se. Thanks Tyler

Normally no you shouldnt need to mess with your gyro when you flip flight modes. In some cases, if there's a drastic difference between head speeds and you flip it to idle up and the tail starts to wag because the tail rotor is spinning faster and therefore becomes more efficent then you might want to assign less gain to that mode but thats not the norm.
You can assign the switch to COND in the GYRO SENS menu and then the idle up switch will control the gyro and you can set it to whatever gain or mode you want in each flight mode.

Assuming your headspeed changes then your gain should change. Like BH said assign you gyro to COND instead of a switch. If you are running a 9254 servo it probably will not wag even @ 100% gain, but you will have to buy a servo every couple of months. I start with 50 in normal and 40 everywhere else.
