Hi All

Firstly, happy christmas to you all..... :)

Now on to my problem! I've just got a 2nd hand heli that is fitted with a CSM ICG400 gyro and also included a X-378 transmitter. I'm struggling to understand a couple of things on the TX. Firstly, my gyro gain switch seems to have been assigned to the "Gear" switch. When I enter the setup mode on the TX I can adjust the gain in "GYR-0" and seperatelty in "GYR-1". From what I can make out GYR-1 is HH mode and GYR-0 is standard rate. Is this correct? Both are adjustable from 0-100% whereas my old Futaba had a range of -100 - +100 and anything set with a "-" figure was standard rate. Am I right in thinking anything below 50% is standard rate and over 50% is HH mode? Or does anything set in GYR-0 automatically a negative figure?

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question!!

Thanks
Simon

Err.... hold on a minute

I think I might be barking up the wrong tree here.....

Having read the instructions again (that's at least 10 times I've read through it now!!) I now think the Gyro gain setting on the TX might not do anything because I'm using the "gear" channel. Is this right? I'm now thing that the "Travel" adjusts the gain?? So, can anybody confirm this or have I completely lost the plot? A similar problem to the one above, I cannot set a negative value. Am I right in thinking that the down position is HH and up is Rate (even though it is a positive figure)??

Sorry guys..

Simon
