I thought I'd had all my 611 gyro issues sorted out and was ready to maiden my 600 and did a check of all the controls to make sure they were all doing what they were supposed to. For some reason, I have almost no right stick authority on the TR. It's like an endpoint has been set on the servo to prevent it from rotating clockwise (looking down on the servo's control horn) Servo is a Futaba 9256 BTW
Both A and B limits on the gyro are 101% and my servo arm length is about 13mm. This seem(ed) to work great with my mechanical setup with no binding/buzzing at the ends of the linkage's travel.
I removed the servo arm and cycled the TR linkage. Nice and smooth throughout the entire range of motion. All the gyro setup info in the radio (9CHP) appears to be unchanged from last week when I set it up initially. I don't see any ATV/Endpoint settings in the radio that might cause this..
I thought my centering was off so I set the gyro back to normal mode with 0 gain and sure enough, the servo arm is right at 90 deg. to the case. Shutting down the power to the electronics and gently cycling the servo by hand shows no binding in the servo itself.
This is my 1st 611 gyro so I'm not completely "comfortable" with the setup. I've re-read the 611 manual several times over the past couple hours and welp, I'm stuck..
I know I'm overlooking something simple, but I'll be darned if I can see it.. I thought Finless had a 611 setup video, but I can't seem to find one. I do have the 600 "gyro setup" video, but it deals with the TR servo and barely brushes the gyro itself.
