Thunder Tiger PRO 39H

I have a new TT-39 Pro. I have the needle turned out 3 turns.. when started runs kinda smooth till half throttle ...then seems to bog out...
Not enough power to get airborn....

Have lots of oil coming out of the muffler.

Have been turning the needle 1/4 turns each way...can't seem to get it to run right

any idea's?

Well, since you have lots of smoke, seems to me it would be ok to lean it out a bit more with the main needle. I'd keep trying in 1/4 turn steps towards lean, as long as you have smoke, to see if it will lift off. I think it will hover within a full turn. If so, for break in it would probably be a good idea to keep the hover time down to maybe a minute, and then idle for maybe a minute to cool off.
