Futaba GY 611 Why 2 Gain's ?

I haven't worked with the futaba 611 gyro and it's my first flight, everything looks ok but i wanted to ask.

In the manual there is mentioned about Gain 1 and Gain 2, and i can change the mode of Gain 1 and 2 seperately.

Could someone explain to me the theory of 2 Gain's on the gyro?

Why is there 2 Gains and what should i set for each for normal and 3D flight?

This is one of those "if you have to ask you probably dont have to bother with it"

Some types of competition (and casual flyers may desire this as well) prefer more gain for hovering type manuvers and less gain for aerobatics. The truth is most of us can get by with setting and forgetting.
