I've just been given an Easy Copter V2 Expert as an addition to the stable by the Mrs for Xmas :D
Has anyone had any success in programming a Futaba Tx (14MZ in this case) to control the 3 in1 Rx (RX404) on the heli. I've got the Aileron and Elevator (Ch1 &2) to work correct but so far have had no joy with the throttle and as yet rudder
Any ideas welcome :D

Hey Mark,
Some of these all-in-one units dont work straight away with other makers Tx.'s, a chap with a Micron recently had trouble getting his throttle working on a Futaba Tx.
I gave similar ideas to try as I will below :
1. Check your throttle channel reversing to see if it is wrong, although I am sure you may have already done this.
2. Another area which can be over looked is the throttle channel travel adjust, or rather lack of it which inturn then doesn't allow the All-In-One mixer board to arm hence no main or tail rotor power.
Most of these units need to see a fully closed throttle to arm when first turned on, I have seen similar problems with larger ESC's and my own Castle Creations unit was similar requiring an extra few % in low throttle to arm.
Start off by increasing the travel limit on the low throttle side to see if the mixer unit arms, I would suggest removing the blades incase it does then arm and go to full power :badair:
Try this and see how you get on.

Ta for that it worked :D
Freq settings
PPM, 12Channel, Reverse PPM
Ch1 - Throttle (REV, End Point 130% low)
Ch2 - Elevator
Ch3 - Aileron (REV)
Ch4 - Rudder
Odd channel assignments, wether it's the ESC or the 14MZ assignments I don't know :dontknow :thinking

Hey,
Brilliant, glad it worked out and you can now start enjoying the model :D
It's a simple problem which crops up a lot when the ESC's wont arm, makes you wonder though why the ATV has to be set so much greater. 2~8% ok, but 20~30% makes me question where the error is. In the mixer box or Tx. manufacturers travels.
