Hi All

I've built and flown the 30 & 50 Raptors, so I thought I'd try a 60/90 size kit :)

The 60 size paddles seem to be in 2 pieces - pressumably so weight can be added?

Do you just CA the inner bit on - the manual doesn't show any info or make reference to it. And if I CA it on, how are you supposed to add weight later on if you wanted to?

Sorry for the dumb question

Happy flying.

Tim

My 90 3D came with the same style, and I never glued the inner portion cause I figured the centrifugal force would keep the inner piece in place, and I could always add weight later...Several flights so far on it like this and no problems - I just make sure they are in place before spinup. The new set on the 3D bird (2 piece) is blue, but I've got the old style on my SE (black ones) and they seem alot heavier.

it's not necessary to glue the 2 pieces together as centrifugal force will hold that inner piece in. I did however put a couple small thin lines (very small- just enough to hold them together) where they connect so they wouldn't come apart.

Thank you, that all seems to make sense.
