I may have very limited experience with electrics, but I do know that batteries do not last long,, with your setup, how long your flight durations will be? and at what rpm?

10s2p a123 batterys will give you 10mins of AP flight for $200. Cycle life seems to be very good. Gear it for your desired headspeed.

Yes, the nice thing about these a123 cells is that they do seem to last longer than what we've come to expect with LiPos, with the better ones being good for 100-150 cycles, maybe 200. The a123 manufacturer says 1000 cycles. I've got one 10-cell pack that I just keep recycling, and it is up close to 200 cycles. I used it in my Logo 10 the other day and it still seems exactly the same. I'm going to take it to 500 cycles and see how it does.

Hmmm...I can see where it might be beneficial to "log" my flights with this ship to see what kind of performance is obtained from my packs over a period of time.
