This is my first post,
I am a noob to programmable Transmitters. I have recently bought a Spektrum Dx7 transmitter (heli version, mode 1 Throttle on the right). When i move my throttle stick up it moves the eileron and elevator also. I have read the manual and as far as im aware i have all mixing switched off (INH) and stunt modes, dual rates ect but I cant seem to stop this behaviour. Has anybody had a similar experience? Im starting to wonder if mine is faulty! :(

Have you plugged in your servos (ail, elv, pit) in the correct locations on the DX7 Receiver? Have you selected CCPM (if its a ccpm heli), or Normal swash settings in the model settings when you hold select and down on radio power up ?
Then check your reversal settings in the radio for individual servos moving wrong directions, or if groups are working in reverse (in ccpm) goto the CCPM mixing settings and reverse the corresponding direction ail/elv/pit from a + to -number or a - to + number (depending on what you have it set at to begin with).

Hi
Thanks for reply
I have the swash set to 120 degrees cppm.
The problem im having is the ail and elevator are on the same stick as throttle.
They should be on the other one.
I am not sure if reversing the servos will fix that.
I can feel im doing something stupid here!

Sorry my mistake.
When i move the throttle stick up the eil (roll) servos are activating also
on the other stick i get very little from the pitch but rudder seems to work fine.

Hi zipphreak
I set my swash type to normal (1 servo) and it seems to be doing what i want it to ie. Throttle and roll on the throttle stick and elevator, rudder on the other. I will leave it like this for now and do some studying on the subject. Im am hoping to set it up with a t-rex 450 xl (ccpm) in the coming days.
Thanks again for your help
