I HAVE JUST RECIEVED A A 6EXAP RADIO SET TO USE WITH MY 3DX 450 HELI. I PURCHASED THE ITEM FROM: http://www.anticsonline.co.uk/1486_1_2003236.html
ITS STATES ITS FOR A HELI.

ON ARRIVAL IM NOT SO SURE ITS THE WRITE ONE?
THE BOX SAYS 6EX-PCM 6-CHANNEL DIGITAL PROPORTIONAL R/C SYSTEM FOR AIRPLANE/HELECOPTER MODEL.
ON THE TRANSMITTER IT SAYS: T6EXAP COMPUTORISED AIRPLANE SYSTEM.

HAVE I GOT THE WRITE ONE? DOES IT SERVE PLANES & HELIS ?
I KNOW THIS WILL ALL SEEM OBVIOUS TO YOU ALL IT JUST SEEMS THERE IS SEVERAL FUTABA 6EX TYPE SETS

It will work fine for a heli.

Also typing in all caps is considered shouting.

Dang I followed what that web site said.

They lied!

No the 6EXA does not include helicopter programming, you need the 6EXH.

Because its easier to produce and print one box than two and just slap a sticker on the side with whats actually in there.

There's 2 versions of that radio the 6exa or aircraft version and the 6exh or Helicopter version. Unlike other Futaba radios the 6ex doesnt come with the software for both like the 7c or 9c. Both versions are capable of FM or PCM, a PCM set comes with a PCM reciever but the transmitter will do either.

Please stop yelling at us.
