I been trying to make one but can't find the 2m bolts that would be long enough to bolt both blades and pivot. Anyone know a good balancer?

Thanks

I ahven't found one yet. I do the CG on my K&S and then just match the weight using a small scale that reads to 0.01 grams.

I may drill and tap my K&S for 2mm bolts.

I use an old reloading scale (grains) for weight, and a razor blade in vise grips for cg.

I'm going to try the reloading scales.

Thanks

Just pull the whole head off and balance the entire assembly. Use the flybar as a pivot point.

I also use a Dillon reloading scale for balancing. I have never had any problems balancing blades this way for the Blade or the Rex.

Dillon stuff ROCKS. :)

550 with feeder here. :)

Yep, Dillon is top notch. Plus they got nice looking models in the catologs.

Little bit of overkill for balancing blades on a CPP though.

Yeah, I need to get on their mailing list again. :)

2mm piano wire and a couple 2mm collars work great. Pin the blades together and set the piano wire across a couple drinking glasses. Balance away.

I used the "HELI-MAX" version just carefully sanded down the 2.5 posts to 2mm
Works great! :D
