Can anyone explain to me what the 0.7 mod is  I've seen it on my outrage but I don't know what it's regarding. And what is the advantage of the newly spoken 0.8?

Thank you in advance...

yeah im lost too when it comes to all the MOD stuff like what is a MOD 1( or any MOD) main gear whats that mean .is that the thinkness of the gear for less stripping or more teeth?......also is a MOD 1 gear a standerd # of teeth? for no matter the brand Outrage, align etc etc

seems everyone whould like a mod 1 gear for the fusion but what does that mean is what im saying

from wiki "
Module, m A scaling factor used in metric gears with units in millimeters who's effect is to enlarge the gear tooth size as the module increases and reduce the size as the module decreases. Module can be defined in the normal (mn), the transverse (mt), or the axial planes (ma) depending on the design approach employed and the type of gear being designed.[15] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gear#cite_note-Standardization.2C_2007-14) Module is typically an input value into the gear design and is seldom calculated.

interesting read about gears

well after reading through that, why arent we using double helical gears like the logo does? is cost the only issue? i mean by the time we are done with proper gearing we do destroy maybe 50$ worth of those flat delrin and plastic gears, so why not go for a little more expensive double helical gear and be done.

Looks like a great size. An adjustable battery tray/module is long overdue.

I can see that becoming a very popular size.

Lets see, now I'm in need of three new heli's.................... :cheers
