Bought my gasser 10 - 12 years ago. Nose in and some FF was the extent of my abilities. Well, kids, work, and an unfortunate encounter with mother earth landed the heli on the shelves. Wreaked! Fast forward to present time and the itch to fly comes back, so I buy an MSR. Fun but I want more. So out comes the wreaked gasser. Pull the plans, gather part numbers, and price out how much to fix my heli. The rotor head is completely destroyed. The bearings and one blade grip is all that is salvageable, and I really do not trust those parts. I remember back in the day there were many aftermarket suppliers with aftermarket heads. So the question, Does anyone one know an aftermarket head for my gasser? I have searched numerous sites only to find the new FBL heads. I do not want to spend the money on a new FBL head and the electronics that go along with it. Seems I can buy a whole kit for a little more. Thanks for the help. this site is great, wish it was around when I stared flying. I tried to post on the gasser forum but system would not let me. If a moderator can move for me I appreciate it.
