For those using A123 cells.
Tonight TP just released V2.00D
Which supports A123 cells. On the link below under the V2.00D link are the instructions on how to use the 1010 for A123 cells once you upgrade to V2.00D.
Also in mid January they state that they will release V2.00E which will also support NiMH and NiCD.
This is why I like user upgradeable firmware, and not have to send it back to the factory to get the latest updates.
2 minutes and I'm done.
So after V2.00E in January, this charger will do all.

How many watts is that charger capable? I'm trying to figure out the highest amps it can charge a 10s a123 pack.
(36v x amps = watts of charger)

TP website says 220Watts, so 6.1111111 amps.
What can you charge yours at now?

4amps on my schulze and maybe 5amps on the AF109 but its a pain to get it to read the pack as a 9 cell so maybe its less. I haven't used the AF 109 in a long time.

only problem I have now is the TP210 does not recognize the cells right, I got 2 E-station PB-6 on order and will be here in a few weeks, they are setup to do A123 cells.

Right now, I use the TP-1010C on my 10s a123 packs, with it set to 9 cells. It maxes out at 5.5A. I'm guessing the a123 mode with it set to 10 cells will do the same. This is the same with the eStation 902 and the TME Extrema. The Schulze isl6-636 goes to 8A, as does the Orbit, I think.
Other than spending $900 on an isl8-936, the only reasonable way to get a full 10A for these cells that I can think of is to maybe recongfigure the packs and use two chargers. I'm thinking of "breaking" the connection between the 5th and 6th cell and bringing leads out that would plug together for usein the helicopter and then I'd make a special charging harness that would let me charge the pack as two 5-cell packs with two TP-1010C chargers running at a full 10A. That would be less than half the price of a 936. :)

I guess I could also re-configure my 10-cell packs as 5s2ps, but I also use the 10-cell packs in my Logo 10, and I lke to mix'n match. :)
