Greetings All:

I was asked if a person can exchange a Raptor head and put it on an X-Cell Heli or if you had to stay with the same brand name.

I think the person thinks that the Raptor head would be stronger. If you can't use a Raptor head, could a person use another brand besides X-Cell ?

He is talking about an all- metal head not the plastic.

Thanks in advance for your input and thoughts and Happy New Year to All!!

Sure you can, as long as the mainshaft is the same diameter, Question is why put a rappy head on a perfect chopper? :)
I've had a MA head on a Gohbee, it flew pretty good even if heavier than the original. You will need to change the washout base and custom make all the links however. It's time consuming and probably won't gain what you want.

Metal head is really no stronger than the head with the plastic grips. Just the metal parts bend when you crash it. When the plastic grip head is crashed. Some times the grips break most of the time they don't.
