View Full Version : soldering 3.5mm bullet connectors
I bought a brushless motor and esc for my honey bee cp2, but I'm unsure how to solder the connectors, there is a little pit with a hole on the side and I don't know if I should just stick the wire in there and fill it with solder, or if there's a more tactful way of doing this.

That will work. Just push the wire all the way down as you solder it in. Fill up the connector as much as possible to get a good connection.
thanks for the quick reply.
my only hesitation was caused by the hole on the side of the connector, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to use that somehow.

I stick the tip of the iron in there to heat both the wire and the connector.
