yes, make sure you get the correct lead JR (single black plastic ring on the male plug end (jack plug) Ask before you buy it and the shop they will ensure they give you the right one.

I already have Reflex and the DX7 so I guess I will have to get a new dongle from Reflex that will work with this radio?

Unless the dongle is broken all you need is the correct lead to plug your TX into your dongle, not a new dongle.

Hmmm its been a while since I looked at the cable. As far as I remember the cable was all one piece and plugged directly into the usb port. Let me go take a look at the cable and snap a picture of it.

That is my cable, can I just buy and adapter that changes the two stripe jack to one?

DO you think this would do the trick??

Yes that will do it, I just un soldered mine and put a mono on instead, but that adapter will work.

Ok great, is there any other setup tips for the DX7 that I need to know? I thought I read somewhere that it needs to be in Airplane mode?

Ok well i bought the adapter and it didn't change anything. However I was told to try something from the reflex site that I may try tonight and see if it works.

did you get it sorted?

Casper, I resoldered my stereo plug and made it mono and it works now. I just need to figure out how to set it up now so everything works like idle up, throttle hold and my gyro. I can't seem to get the tail to hold on the sim and the funny thing is I am having the same issue with my Trex in real life :(

Gyro must be set at 50% and all sticks and switches set middle position, the click on radio drop down menu and calerbrate. It should work fine after that, just set it to 100% for HH.

When you say set to 50% do you mean the ATV in my gyro channel...which I have asigned to channel 5?

Yes your gyro gain on your TX

Okay guys,

I just switched to a DX7. I picked up a JR plug adapter for the dongle. I tried to get things to work on Reflex, but the channel assignments and controls are all mixed up. What channel gets assigned to each control. Currently, I move aileron and the pitch changes. And I can't get it to have any negative pitch. The throttle drops and then cuts with negative input. I can't get rudder to work at all. And when I switch the Tx on, Reflex states that the Tx needs to be turned "on".

I had been using a 9C with Reflex prior. Do I have to reset everything? I'm getting frustrated at how difficult something which used to be so simple is getting. I'm confused....I have to be missing something.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

-Ted

Ted do you have the radio in normal swash mode? When I first set my radio us I had it set for 120* CCPM and Reflex wouldn't work right.

Ah. That's probably the issue...Thanks. I'll try switching to "normal" swash.

Well....It still doesn't work. Could someone post there settings/channel assignments that work with the DX7. I can't believe I am having such a difficult time setting this up!
