What is everyones opinion on what is the best weight set up for the EVO 50 paddles for general FFF???? eg: with both weights in or just the lead one or the brass one.
Glenn
I ran min without any. If it is too twitchy, you can always add expo.

I used to run mine with a small piece of the brass weights cut. About 3/4 to an inch long and use only that in the paddles. Gave me the perfect response an no pitchiness.
Down side is the weighs won't come out untill you bust up the paddle. I ran them untill I crashed them and then transferred the weights to a new set.

I fly with just the lead ones.

I fly w/ just the lead ones or replace the lead w/ old flybar (since it's hard to get the
lead out w/o breaking it off)
no weight is pretty twitchy.

Anyone tried v-Paddles for the EVO 50? How would they stack up I wonder. Looking for the most responsive 3d setup without pitchiness in FFF. Not the detract the threads original question, but please comment on v-paddles if possible.

I use the 80 (or 85mm?) V Paddles for 3mm flybar
The Sceadu is very quick to respond with these on
I find it hard to hold tick tocks in one place
Considering flybar weights
They do not pitch in forward flight
The Hirobo paddles with no weights do pitch in forward flight
So when using the Hirobo paddles, just the lead or maybe 1/2 the lead is good

I tried the V-paddles, they where ok, just did not seem quick enough on the cyclics so I went back to the stock paddles with no weights. I also tried the inner holes on the main blade grips... WOWWW super fast cyclics with no sign of flutter on the v-blades.

There must be some other contributing factor to this pitchiness in forward flight because my Evo 50 doesn't have paddle weights and it flies true. Today, with pitchiness in mind, I tried forward flight at various speeds, turns and straight runs, all the way up to the fastest possible, and there was simply no pitching at any time. (Using a HPM version with Radix blades and 9252 servos).

Blades and getting the paddles absolutely straight play a big factor.
I have had issues with NHPs and MAHs pitching with no weights in the paddles.
It is normal for the machine to be pitch if you over collective it in flight but here is a good rule of thumb on any heli to remove pitchyness.
If they pitch down you have negative in the paddles if they pitch up you have positive.
