Seems like ever time a order big batteries, 3700 4350 or 4900 they come with the swrink wrap cracked or busted a little, Its not worth sending them back or anything, so I'm looking for some clear shrink wrap to repair some of my packs, and its big shrink wrap. where is the best place to get this stuff and how to size it for your battery packs.

Thanks, Jeff

I have gotten mine from here:
http://www.shopatron.com/search/137.0?q=shrink

The largest is 3.5 which will do up to 5S 3700 cells (or 4S 4900's). I have not been able to find anything larger to do the 6S 4900 packs. If someone does please let me know where too!

Jermo thanks but no help... The largest clear Readyheli has is only 2.5 inches which is not big enough. The largest colored they have is 3.5 which again will not fit 6S 4900 packs.

We need larger!

Where does FP get there's, is there a way to buy it from them??

I notice that FlightPower is located in the UK, is there a USA location??

Will James is noted as a FlightPower Rep. or Team FlightPower?
maybe he could check and see where they are buying this stuff.

Thanks Again

Qualtek makes 6" stuff in their Q2-Z series. 50' roll in black. You can buy from digikey: http://dkc3.digikey.com/PDF/T071/1793.pdf

I ordered one of each size they have. I will try them out on a pack I am [re]building now.

I am waiting on aluminum solder flux and high silver content solder to come in so I can solder up the broken power tabs on the cells. Once I complete the solder and tape off the connections, I will try out the appropriate shrink tube I got from the quoted link.

Try Common sense RC, they have all sorts of sizes and sell in lengths as short as 24 inches. Look in the accessories section.

Got mine from TNR Techinical, I had a 3700 cracked and fixed with there shrink wrap and its good as new, Looks a little clearer until the new wears offs,

I used 85mm clear for the 3700 and 4350,

I used 125 mm for the 4900.

Fast shipping, i had the package in two days. I'm in GA and there in CA.

Contact is Pat, 1-800-490-8418.

Clear sizes:

47, 66, 85, 105, & 125mm @ 1.00 Ft. + 5.50 shipping, I think the minimum order is 15.00.
