I have an Intrepid EB running 720MM mains with the long boom. I notice that the CG changes what I think is quite a bit when running the tank goes from full to empty. In my case it goes from a tad nose heavy through to tail heavy. To keep it level I need to add forward cyclic or trim it forward.

Is this something that others notice or am I just to picky? I just changed to Vblade paddles and haven't had a chance to test them. Should I consider shortening the tail boom back to the length of a standard gasser? :dontknow

Ya, mine does it also. I have the standard boom. It changes cause of the weight of fuel from full to empty. Trim with a half tank and it will be equally off from both.
I know of no easy way to correct for this. :dontknow

My Intrepid EB Hotrod does that also with her V 710 mains, But my Intrepid EB camera ship doesn't do it (NHP800) and the back-up camera ship (V-810) doesn't either.
It bugged me for the longest time. Just retrim it with half a tank and have fun
