Just download this file below
After you open G3, on the top menu:
Click on Simulation in the menu bar.
Select Import.
Select G3X...
Then locate where you saved the TRex file and open that file. It will load the model into the simulator.
To select the model after it has been loaded, go to the top menu:
Select Aircraft.
Select Aircraft...
Expand the Custom Aircraft selections and find the loaded TRex model.
Thanks to Jason Bell for this!

Sweet dog !! thanks. It has a little more power than my stock rex but a little tweaking on the model and on the rex should bring them closer together.

Very cool.
After downloading you need to double click the .ZIP file to get the files out...
You should copy all of them to someplace like:
C:\Program Files\RealFlightG3\Planes\
exceot for the .battery file which needs to go into
C:\Program Files\RealFlightG3\Engines
then restart and you should be able to pick it from the top custom aircraft...

Awesome Dan - Thank you so much for posting - great fun - best handling big heli yet in G3.5 - starting to despair getting a hover in most of the others :noteworthy

I downloaded the file but it's not a .ZIP format, it's .g3x. I tried putting it in the Planes and G3X folder but nothing shows up! :(

I think it's been changed to a g3x now, so read the middle post above, you just download, and then do an import from the G3 menu...

I -thought- I was clear on the very first post. Apparently I was not :(
I added Clay's post to mine to clear things up.

COOL
It doesn't work right! I've posted in the other post ..why,, big time tail wag with nob all the way down,, and it will crash on spool up 50 % of the time. I've tried all the fixes,, it still doesn't work very well.

Hey guys, im having a problem downloading all the Trex600 Heli.
Its saying that... unable to register the helicopter. and might be on the ADD on disk???? am I missing something here?
Hmm, well, we all love to have our heli model in the sim,
but imo this is the arcade version - fun none the less

Why does the heli crash on the ground when going into idle-up?

at mid stick or above it shouldn't
Try the other Trex in the other thread. This one is kind of HYPER.

I tried them both and this one is actually better. After restarting the computer the ground crash doesn't happen as often. Like you said - mid stick idle-up. I also slowed the servos down a bit and the heli is less twitchy. :)

Hey the latest update to G3 has hosed up all the Trex600 models here!
The rotor does this WIERD wobble and the heli doesnt fly like a real one anymore (too easy to fly now).

I just saw this thread, and I sent this to dog like a month ago at least!
I like this helicopter, over the new micro heli one with the red skid things on the side, that one is just to easy to bog. Try lowering the head stiffness that will eliminate the head bobble.
