Are you running 4s or 5s and with which esc? As I said I have a Jazz on the way. I also have a 19T and a 20T pinion so I'm still kinda wondering which pinion to go with when everything shows up. I think my goal is gonna be 2800 rpm at first until I get this bird setup a bit and get used to the larger size and such.

my 15-14 is on the way. I'll be sure to let you know my opinion when it goes up (and softly down...)

My Kora 15-14w, Jazz 80-6-18, with 24t Pinion & 4S TP Pack turns 2800 rpm at the head with the Governor set to 95%. Head speed was tached and read by MicroPower BL Motor Sensor. For information, the 15-14 has 14 Poles(Magnets).

What size pinion are you guys running on the 15-12 and what head speed are you getting?

So on 5s I should use the 20T to get ~2900 and I'll need a 21T to hit 3k.

With jazz 55-6-18 and Hyperion 4S 3700:
With 19T and 100%: 2580 rpm.
With 20T and 75% 2500 rpm
With 22T and 75% 2640 rpm
With 24T: 2580 at 60%, 72%: 2780 rpm. 3000 at 85%.

Hi guys, www.revco-rc.com will shortly have 18T .6M Lepton pinions to make the Kora line of motors work better on 5S...stay tuned.
