I am looking at building an HDX300 and have a spare R149DP receiver sitting around. My thoughts are that the receiver is going to be too big, can someone verify my thoughts or do you think it will fit somewhere?

That's a big receiver for that small ship.. One of the Berg 7ch micro Rxs would work well in that thing. I think I paid about $60 for my last one. Just set your Tx to PPM mode to get it to talk to it.

im using the JR610ul it fits right in between the side frames under the main gear towards the rear
