servos freakingout

my servos on the pitch & roll start to do there own thing as I throttle up.
the motor starts to sputter (like a gas motor with bad gas- but it's electrc)

changed out the reciever, same deal.

can ESC go bad and cause these kind of things?
transmitter going bad?

any suggestions
