It should do fine. You will also need a mounting set for the indicator, Harbor should have it.
To do the indicating, remove your glow plug as this will introduce a bit of run-out through loading the bearings. Mount the motor/fan so that it cannot move and also mount the indicator firmly. Set the indicator on the hub top rim and zero it out. Turn the hub slowly and see if the needle on the indicator moves. In an easy explanation, just slowly turn the fan to see if there is a high spot. If so, loosening the fan and turning it 180 degrees to the high spot and remounting it should do the trick. If not, continue to move the fan around and re-tighten at a new spot. Generally, adding a small amount of lube ( I use dish wash soap) and turning the fan on the collets before tightening (as if you are trying to screw it on) helps greatly.

Due to the collet centering, there is not much you can do radially for fan balancing, but you should not need to.

Hope this helps!

Jimmy,
I found this one. Includes base, calipers and carrying case, too. Works well. http://www.grizzly.com/products/item.cfm?itemnumber=H3022&&gid=738F05FF-8808-4DF9-A4BC-F6022DD6AF8E&site=grizzly&box=5
