....like Duralite. But there are no lithum ion motor batteries?

there are LI-Ion flight packs, but they are not popular as they are heavier than lipos.

And harder to get, you have to buy cordless tool packs and take them apart and build packs.
That is changing somewhat, and will probably get better.

LIPO's are more stable in power delivery (minus the overcharge/explosion problems), but at weight sacrifice (slightly lower capacity density than LI-ION). Plus LIPO is a gel so it can be more easily shaped into multiple shapes and sizes. LI-ION's are a little easier to deal with, but much harder to manufacture.
You can find a lot of info by google-ing LIPO and LI-ION construction :glasses2:

No kidding! I hate it when that happens!!! That's the site I checked out...there is some really promissing technology coming out for laptop batts., Toshiba has a LIPO that reaches 80-90% full charge in under 1 minute! and a full charge in less than 6 or 7 minutes!!!! Of course we'll have to wait for this to trickle down to us. They are also coming out with a couple different variances of LIPO/LI-ION that will totally blow away any batts currentlyon the market as far as power density and capability (gotta love those geeky little dudes that can figure all this stuff out!!).
