Ok, I've seen all the video's and read alot. Now I'm installing electronics in my bird and can't seen to find where the reciever get's powered from. Yes it's obvious it's from the batter but there's no connection for it anywhere that I can find. mmm....what did I do wrong?

The ESC (motor speed control) also normally includes a BEC circuit (battery eliminator circuit) that steps the voltage down to 4.8 volts to power the servos and RX, and gyro.

Many of us run a separate such circuit. I run a ParkBEC from Dimension Engineering. It is a switching voltage regulator so less waste into heat. I also runa 6 volt model which gives the servos a bit of a speed boost.

so my align 35g will power the reciever through the throttle reciever connection?

The reciever has the positive and negative pins wired as a bus. That is power coming in on any of the leads is distributed to all of them. The signal pin is unique to each channel. So you can hook a battery into any open channel or even connect it with a servo to a Y harness.

In your case, as Pinecone said, power is coming in on the throttle connection and the signal is going out to the ESC.
