PLT AND PIT??

COULD SOMEONE HELP ME
i have bought a walkera 22e and when im trying to take off it doesnt seem to lift
i presume its the pit and plt settings.
im not sure off these do i disconnect anything?
do i set the knobs to 0 then unlock it.
and once there ok do i lock it at the appropriate settings?
