Odin Cooling Fan

Does the electric cooling fan for the Odin need a channel from which to operate? I will otherwise have all 7 of my channels used up with gyro, Switchglow, and governor.

no, you can run the esc right into the battery you want to use it

Thanks. Is that setup ideal or is there a temp based control scheme?

I just ran mine with a 2s lipo. And it did well. Some guys have tried running a temp base system but im not sure how it worked out. I also know some guys run the signol wire to another channel so right when the trim up it arms the ESC
