Sorry about the newby question but I am a abit confused.

Before I brought my EVO kit I did some research and one of the many things I learnt from the research was that the EVO main gear was noisey and many people suggested a replacement gear set which I thought was called DTDS and was white in colour (same as the Raptors).

I have now started my EVO build and the manual shows a picture of what they call a DTDS gear set which looks like the one that came with my kit and it is black.

What does DTDS stand for? and does the EVO now come with the DTDS gear set?

Thanks in advance.

Direct tail drive system
That is a guess.
The white ones are much quieter.

SteveL is right ; Direct Tail Drive System .

The DTDS is standard in the 50 kit, not in the 30. But the standard one is black. The white one (made of delrin) is an upgrade and is a lot more expensive.

HPM --> Hirobo Pitch-Up Mechanism
SWM --> Swash Mode Mechanism

Other stuff fom Hirobo :

SCEADU, another Celt and Northern European mythological goddess, was adorned with shining armor, matching helmet, and yielded a battle proven bow matched with a quiver of sharp arrows strapped to her back. The goddess FREYA , said to be SCEADU's twin, also appears in Celtic and Northern European mythology as a goddess with so much beauty and power that other mythological gods kneeled in her presence.
