V-Stabi in Logo 14

My V-Bar has arrived. Just a quick question, if mount the gyro sensor behind the battery tray do I need to use some type of mount to mak it perpendicular to the mast? Or does this only apply to the Logo 10?

I have two other mods which I can really recommend.

The second is a 1mm shim inside the ball-link on each blade holder, moving the ball-link exactly in the middle of the head.

Its needed to get "perfect" control.

The battery comparment on the L14 is also slightly tilted and not entirely perpendicular to the main mast. I dont think you have to make the gyro tray but the truer you get the installation the better it should work :)

As MrMel sais, check that the links from the blade holders to the swash runs in parallell with the mast. On my Logo 10 I didnt have to do any of the changes that MrMel did.
