Here are some pics I just took of my Audacity Models Tiger 50 outfitted with some aluminum RJX head parts but the best part is the carbon boom, John Beech mentioned in a recient post that Audacity Models has sold around 1500 Tiger 50 kits, well here's an option for you Tiger owners to personalize your Tigers, I already know that some are going to come on here and tell me that I wasted my money and time and that's ok after all ITS MY MONEY, I wanted a Tiger that no one else has and right now this is the first one (that I know of with a carbon boom and metal tail case fitted to it), yeah they are going to say its supposed to be a beater heli, nah, I take my T-Rex 450XL out and beet that, in fact I crashed it last weekend, blades survived and rebuild cost me $17.32, an hour later is was back ready to fly. Heck after spending 30K on my Camary I still went out and spent another $1500 for V-Line racing wheels and Yokahama Tires, I wanted to personalize it, did it need new sneakers, not really but I like it and thats all that matters, same goes for our heli's.

This is just another way for you to personalize "YOUR HELI" nothing more.

I was able to swap out the swash, washout base and washout arms, seesaw and seesaw arms, and the flybar control arm, what I choose to do was reuse the existing hub/yoke so there wouldn't be any modifications, I did have to use an RJX Hurrican spindle and spindle collar because the RJX blade grips were a bit larger than the 6mm Tiger grip, there also is a slight mod that can be done if someone wanted to use the metal hub/yoke and if anyone is interested you can PM me for details. The first three shot are of the head.

Now for the carbon boom install, The RJX carbon boom is 720mm because the front of the boom mounts in a pair of boom clamps, the Tiger 50 / Pantera boom is 690mm with a 25mm slit up front and it slides into two rails if you will on each side of the rear frame for the tailboom, the RJX boom has a 15mm grove for the tailcase and is cut flush up front, I simply cut 30mm off the front and elongated the grove on the other end to 25mm with a hobby saw in just a few minutes, installed the metal tailcase on the fluch cut end and slide it right in, the only thing I changed was the front tailbelt pully (tiger uses smaller spacing, RJX Hurrican used a larger belt spacing) and the tailcase came with a tail output shaft and pully already installed so I just used an RJX belt and front pully. I don't have a fancy workshop so this was all done in my small home office on a 3x5 plastic work table so what I'm trying to say is, it's a pretty simple thing to do. Here are the pics of the carbon tailboom and the metal tailcase, I'm going to let Steven tear it up Saturday as my loops, rolls, and flips won't do it any justice

Ahhh, you guys are good because I didn't notice any T-Rex parts missing from the rex box, so Ron must have ponied up with the parts, OK I see how you guys are, one lies and the two swear by it huh...

It's OK, he can go as low as you guys want with your heli's :nanabobo

Hey Steve, you need to read the fine print on Steven's contract with me :Deal , if he crashes because he's doing something stupid he foots the $$$ for the repairs. Hey Uncle Steve, can I go lower ????
