Here is a short video of my G3.5. Take note of the rotor disk and the heli body when in hover and also what it does when the heli is on the ground. It's getting so at the moment it is difficult to control. Any thoughts anyone

TIA

Mark....I noticed some strange ground handling effects and the shakey tail with that TRex 600 download....still have the strange ground handling and self destructing on the ground but i got the shakes under control by making adjustments to the tail.
Seems to only be an issue with the TRex 600.

It now happens with all the trex models imported to G3.5. It used to be OK but suddenly it's got worse

On the ground I used to get the rocket effect but in flight it was OK until now :arggg: :arggg:

:glasses2: Good job on the video! Ronnie James Dio?

My Trex Tracks correctly. Where did you get that one, here?

yeah it was the 600 link you posted

Credit due to Dio and Blackmore - best music Rainbow ever did :glasses2:

I saw Dio when we was solo (back in the day) :smokin:

Fantastic - that must of been a moment in time to preserve

I never saw him/them live - nearest I've been is Queen with Inxs and Staus Quo supporting

ACDC and Rolling Stones on their own

I was into Rush etc when Dio was king but only now do I see what I missed :arggg:

Bollocks - it's now starting to really get on my tits

The Raptor is OK as is all the Inbuilt Heli's. I'm just interested why the Trex based heli's do this when they used to be OK :dontknow

Ps - I do like Rock :D

i have a heli on G3 that does this.
at least the rotor wobble thing.
i was just messin around in the editor and lowered the wieght of the rotor blades.
cleared right upno more rtor wobble.
dont know if it messes up the over all flight physics but the wobble is gone

seems to be flying just like before now.

I'll try that - cheers bud

But I still have to ask why has it suddenly got worse with the trex based models??

I just installed that 600 model the other day. Unless I'm at IDL1 when it spools up, it'll jump around and then self destruct.

I've seen Dio with Rainbow, Black Sabbath and solo - most recently in 2004. That little troll can SING.

Love that song, but like Man On The Silver Mountain better. :)

Mine started the wobble with the TREX600 after I downloaded the new 044 update.
The other heli's don't wobble, but the frame rate has got a slight stutter now that wasn't there before.....sort of regretting the 044 update, but the 3.5 update was decent, so I went for it....

Edit :

I changed the blade weight to 100g as suggested above. The wobble is gone in normal mode, but comes back in idle up....they definately spin like they are out of balance....

yepper...they are out of balance.
the updated T-Rex in my sticky fixes this problem.
during the the creation of the 3D model
the pivot point of the main rotor was miss aligned
yogi149 did a great job of hunting it down and fixing it

the new versions fly very smooth

Ah, yes...the new G3X file is much much better. Flies just like my stock CF 600..
Thank you so much !!!
