I get it, electic vs Nitro. Would you have flown your nitro indoors?(yes, I''ve seen that U-Tube video as well :( ) For some reason people think electric they think safe.......NOT! There seemed to be a fair bit of room in there, I can understand you wanting to try it. BUT! It's a judgement call, and in my opinion the wrong one. Personally I wouldn't take the risk due to safety but also due to Money....Unless you have money to burn in which case send some my way......Why risk your investment.

IMHO electric motors more dangerous than nitro - glow engines stall - electric keep on coming at yer till the gears strip or something burns out. Problem is the unpredictable can and does happen - a ball link can split - a bolt shear - a blade weight get spat out or radio malfunction and you're left vulnerable with a lethal machine.
Yes we are all free to do dumb things and most times get away from it - problem is when things go bad (and believe me they do) they reflect not just on the individuals but also on the rest of the hobby - flying r/c aircraft is very politically sensitive as it is viewed by the non cognoscenti as 'boys with toys' and there are many tinpot officials who would love to be seen working for public safety by banning r/c aircraft in their areas.
So if you or your Dad (God forbid) got seriously injured it would make headline news and the media would doubtless press for 'something to be done' and we'd all suffer.
PS - you really shouldn't have the HF logo as part of your video as it suggests endorsement - and I'm quite sure that neither Will (Bossman) or Admin would condone your practice.

well... ahah My Dad (the video guy) made the bad call haha i was scared shitless hahahaha but my dad wanted me to do it .. so i did it .. I know i could have died.. I'm sorry if i offended anyone but that had to be the most fun ever.. I've never had my heart pound that fast. (maybe there's a reason for that...)
oh and everyone who said i should have flown in the wind.. it was 70mph winds...
kindest regards,
Scott Graham
Sorry, I'm not buying it. You were at the controls, you were responsible. If your dad told you to shoot someone, jump off a cliff, etc you would have known better.
It was your poor judgement to fly it and your poor judgement to post it for others to see and maybe try it too. You put our hobby at risk. Own up to it guy.

Everything you posted prior to this made it seem like you still thought it was OK.
Enough said. Thread closed.
