Got a Canon HV10 for the Logo 10 today. Very anxious to see how it does. It's lighter than my GS300 and image quality is excellent.
what do I hate about it? the form factor! it's horrible. Need to test it out and see how it goes but if it doesn't work out I have the ability to send it back.

yup... that's the downlink antenna. the new version that Black Widow is selling. Not as directional and the whip that comes with the TX.

Anxious to see how this does DJ. What stab system are you running on the heli? I see the copilot sensor on the horiz stab...

I've been running the AP2000i on this helicopter since it was built back in June. Works great!

Wow, I can't believe you got that thing balanced with just a 550 stretch. Way to go.
Hey, did you move? Where's the signature wet red patio tile?
I have been eyeing that canon, but just did not think it would fit very well in my gimbal.
Where's the 30 second back yard hover video? :D

I almost forgot.
Forget the 30 second back yard hover.
Take that thing over to red mountain and fulfill your weekend mission.
Heli, river, mountain, HD...

Hey if you don't like the camera, I'll take a Dakine Discount on it and take it off your hands!

there's something wierd about this camera's OIS. It doesn't appear to work well at all when using my Canon .8X wide converter. The image gets distorted and looks like you are looking through a mirage. Another thing I'm finding is the tallness of the camera is not such a good thing... at least not in my particular application. I have it mounted on a piece of neoprene and it is able to wiggle much more than my other video cameras.
I'll have to play around with it some more, but I'm thinking that I like the HC3 more.
I also dislike the fact that the video out is at the front of the camera... makes wiring look and operate funky.
hmmmm....

you almost need narrow/tall gimbal for that. too bad about the wide angle lense issue. there are several compact cameras coming out that looks real promising though. looks good otherwise.
