Hello!

Has anyone experience of that heli?

Looks like any other 450 clone. I would hop over to Xheli and check out there clones. You can build one with the same or better quality items for less.

I don't think it's a clone. Here in Sweden the KDS brand are quite popular and have good support with parts and so on. So it would be a good choice thinking of that.

The KDS 450SV model was higly appreciated by many. This is one is so new so not many have it in Sweden, maybe not in the US either.

Am sorry didn't notice you were in Sweden. Here in the US the more popular brands are Align, Rave and Gaui in the electric line. They are followed by clones like, HDX, EXI, E-razor, and a few others. We have KDS here but not as big as many of our clones or originals but am sure it is as good because most of them are pretty much the same.

Have now built my KDS 450 Quiet. It's a really nice heli with alu/cf and good quality parts. Fully belt driven like MSH Protos. Check photos below (I have BeastX with RJX head).

And just to clarify things, since this thread is about KDS. The only KDS 450 that is a t-rex clone is the KDS 450C, the other ones are own constructions. This one is a totally new concept that maybe can replace the KDS 450S(V).

Happy flying!

I'm not sure if thats the correct set up for KDS helis but can you check your tail blades. I think it's in the wrong way. Correct me if I'm wrong.

i like it. flies great 3D. comes RTF in an aluminum case. I almost flipped mine upside-down tonight but didn't want to allocate funds to support a crash. Good size heli to do 3d with

Yes I love mine too. FBL with 350-blades on this one is really great I think. Stock engine is really ok I think. But one friend would like one with 4S-setup. Anyone with experience on that? Seems difficult to find another motor.

My idle modes and curves, see below. Gives me 2150 rpm on idle up 1. I personally think that HS is really nice to fly sport with, even light 3D, I made some rainbows and stuff today and it's really sweet RPM with low sound, and the heli ain't too fast on bad stick-input :)

What HS do you use?

N: 0/47/63/70/100 @ 2000rpm
I1: 75/70/65/70/75 @ 2150rpm
I2: 95/83/80/83/95 @ 2600rpm

Different belt driving structure, and the flying is quiet.
I heard that from my dealer there will be 450Quiet FBL rotor head soon. It is really exciting news. I am looking forward to the FBL head.
