I really hate all the phillips screws on the mx 450 xs makes the disassembly a pain in the ass. Well no more I order a Trex SE screw kit and a frame bag kit for an HDX 300 Se. That will take care on the headache. Other wise I like the kit will post more when she flys.

How much did the kit cost? I was thinking of getting a 2mm screw assortment that's like $30 bucks to do the same...Or buying a bunch of Dubro hex screws...What color are they?

Problem is they are not Philips. They are JIS (Japanese industrial standard). The cross drive has a different profile than philips so a philips screwdriver usually will strip out the cross in them when trying to loosen them.

I bought a JIS screwdriver set from Heliproz, and they are excellent quality. That said, I have a combination phillips/slot head screwdriver zi got for free with a computer motherboard that fits all the Japanese phillips screws used on these heli's perfectly! You can buy these for about $100 at any Radio Shack or CompUSA, etc. The computer motherboards are mostly made in Japan so it makes sense the screws for the motherboard are JIS standard.

From Wikipedia:
The Phillips screw drive has slightly rounded corners in the tool recess, and was designed so the driver will slip out, or cam out, under high torque to prevent over-tightening.
A JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) head, commonly found in Japanese equipment, looks like a Phillips screw, but is designed not to cam out and will, therefore, be damaged by a Phillips screwdriver if it is too tight.

Regardless I purchased 2 sets (so I could have some spares) of the Align frame bags 9.99 free shipping. They are silver in color/blue washers.
