Slowly but surely. I flew it today for 11 mins with a 15min break in between I checked the resting voltage and it was 11.38v. During flight at around the 10 min mark I did hear the power drop a little. It could still climb but slowly, 1 min later the timer went off and I landed. I think I will just fly it for 10-11 mins even though I know it could fly longer. Would this hurt the pack by not using it all they way (meaning 80% of the pack)? After charging I put back roughly 650mAh after and 63mins of charge. Since the equation is not that accurate it probably less. Let me know

Thank You!

Out of curiosity, has anyone shorted out a lipo. What happens any explosions, fire, electric shock?

Sounds like you have found your safe flight time ~10 minutes.

No, lipos are not harmed by repeated partial discharge/recharge cycles.

Yes, shorting a lipo has a high probability of causing a gas explosion and fire. Google for "lipo fire" and you will find many examples and videos.

I hope nothing is wrong. CRAP!:arggg:

Flew for 10 mins today. During the flight it seemed not as noisy as usual. After the flight the resting voltage was about 11.48v. It had the power and the duration, but it wasn't the same as usual. It sounded different as if it was not as powerfull as before. Another thing, just before I shut her down I went into idle up mode there was barely a noticeable difference in head speed. I didn't charge the Lipo cause I'm scared it might blow. I have about maybe 15-20 flight on it maybe less. And after a 10 min flight the lipo is still kool to the touch the only thing that gets hot is the motor.

Anybody now whats going on. What should I do? I hope I don't get fireworks next time I charge.:(
Question: While charging a Lipo on the verge of dying. Due to decreased holding capacity. Would you put more mAh back in or less mAh?
Thanks :dontknow :arggg: :(
