Can anyone tell me what the weight of a sub C 2400 mah NiCad battery is? I want to compare it to a Duralite LiIon 4300 mah that weighs 7.2 oz. Thanks.

4 cell SubC 1800mah JR pack weighs 7.2oz.
Another option will be an on-board generator with a JR 1400mah battery backup pack. Generator is 3.7oz, Pack is 4.9oz, and mount depends on the ship. Chris Bergen just made some mounts for his line of machines soon to be available.
The difference with this option here is that it is an unlimited power system whereas any battery you use is constantly draining and you have to watch it while flying to make sure it doesn't die on you.

Thanks, Raja. I thought the sub C's would be a lot heavier than the Duralite LiIon pack. I'm debating switching over to Duralites but I thought I'd be saving weight and it turns out that at 7.2 oz for the 4300 LiIon pack and 1.6 oz for the regulator I'll actually be heavier. Back to the drawing board.
Decided to go with the Duralites after all. Considering all the positives, it was a no-brainer.
