:dontknow Hello and Happy New Year to All!!! Guys can someone suggest to me a video camera to mount on a 30 size nitro bird. I just want to have some fun with this it's not for proffessional use.... I was just curious I guess you could buy just about any kind of video camera as long as the weight was within your range correct... I know guys prefer the tapes over the hard drive type from what I have been reading, in the event of a mishap... I think most would be toast in the event of a crash so I can go with either unless there is a picture quality difference from one to another.
OK open for suggestions fellow rotarheads...
Thank You,
Maurice :dontknow

Well, for a .30 size bird, you'd want it as light as possible. The models which write direct to DVD disc are more expensive. I picked up a Panosonic PV-9 on Ebay for $100 which weighs less than 16 ounces. You might do some research for something light weight and see if you can find a good deal on Ebay.

CVS sells a disoposable video camera which can be hacked to re-use which might be a cheap, light option.
