Specificly how do i get the cord for the tail motor through the boom? the plugs bigger than the whole boom diameter!

De-solder the wires at the motor.

yup desolder and refeed em thru the new one, I just replaced the main frame on mine tonight because it broke where the boom mates up. I have an issue now with the boom fitting too loosely in the main frame.... lemme know what you use to make it a tight fit. It looks like the factory used some sort of simple clear glue or epoxy. I tried some loctite and using elec tape to hold it in place while it dries, if it doesn't work I may try some epoxy.

boom must be CA'd into the frame. Thin CA will wick right in!

Use hot melt glue, it is easier to take it apart the next time. :)

Hey Everyone,
I'm a noob at helis and got a Honey Bee CP2 but have done cars and trucks and planes forever. I was flying my CP2 in the back yard and my depth perception being poor as it is, the heli tried to trim the trees in the yard and it crashed. Broke the main frame right at the tail boom. So I got a new one and completely rebuilt the heli (FUN) and what I did to reinforce the weak area that the boom fits into is to fill the open areas with 5 minute epoxy, basically making that area solid. I've crashed a couple of times since and it's still holding up. Hope this helps!

Hi! I am new to this site. Just want to input a way I dealt with the tail boom.
Rather than glue, I drilled two small holes and use self tapping phillips
screws to hold the boom. It works well so far even after crashes.

remove wire from plug where it plugs into 4 in one,run wires thru boom, reconnect wires

I like the idea, but do you think there might be the possibility of the wires in the boom having the insulation chaffed off from the sharp point of the screws.

Yeah, get a low temp hot melt glue gun. They are safe on foam even. Just put a spot where the boom mounts.

I have also used it to keep the servos from moving by hot gluing the tabs.
