I have a couple of no name Lipos that were given to me and now that I have my trex going my packs are starting to not hold a long charge anymore.
What is the best lipo and where is the best place to purchase them from?
For what its worth, I have a Orbit charger.
Thanks

A lot of people here use FlightPower EVO batteries. I plan to buy several packs in the near future for both a Trex 450 and a SIG LT-25.

A lot depends on how you fly. If starting out the Hextronics (United Hobbies) or DN Power and nice packs that work well and are inexpensive.

If you are into 3D pretty hard, TP or Fligth Power EVOs.

We have replacement packs for the T-Rex 11.1 2100mAh 15C available on our site here: http://www.commonsenserc.com/product_info.php?products_id=39

We also might be able to help you use those old batteries, if you give us a call Toll-Free (866-405-8811) or use the "Live Help" feature on our website.

I've only flown ThunderPower and Align in my little TRex. Both are adequate. I hear the FlightPower batteries are the nutz.

There is a lot of choice out there, the old Flightpower EVO20 2150mAH was a favourite and can now be found discounted if you hunt around :D . This has now been replaced by the new slimmer size Flightpower EVO20 2170mAh Claimed to be the ultimate Lipo for your T-Rex, this new version has only just been released here in the UK, here's the spec :-

2170mAh 3S1P 11.1V 25C 54.25Amp Continuous, 40C 86.6 Amp Bursts

dimmensions: 24 x 36 x 112mm

They certainly do the job for me, but I'm not up to 3d yet so can't comment on them for extreme flying.

Note they are a bit expensive £48.99 in the UK thats $95 !

Cheers

I have a couple of them Common Sense pack and I love them cheap and reliable but I don't do the hard 3D. and if you crash upside down the common sense paks don't like it one of mine swelled up makes a good paper weight for the hobby room. :D
