That's what a guy had mounted on his STOCK Belt CP v2 on the local rc club flying field in NZ where I went last week, he certainly doesn't have visibility issues!

Finally the pictures uploaded, I think HF had a problem, the upload script was just sitting there waiting for a response, it started working again after daily server reboot...

It's actually a 500 fuselage but it comes with everything, all the kit is there to put a 450 inside! LHS store sells it and I plan to ask for some more details, but it's a little over $100 US. The guy flew it 100% STOCK, he even had Esky Tx and flew it in the wind that has rendered my 120SR useless. On the photos you can see stock head, blades, motor and ESC. He was planning to put Eflite Rx on it, but this just to bind it to his DX6i which he was flying quite awesome planks with. Another photo, with his Spitfire behind:

i really like that fuselage^, im gonna hafta to look into something like that when i get my CPX....
thread jack to the OP: how do you like your CPX? im movin up from my hb v2 and noticed the cpx over a belt-cp v2....are any of the parts from the v2 belt cp compatible with the cpx? no real problems that you have had with it at all?

Most parts interchange. The main diff is the flybar is BELOW the main blades.. so there is a Hub and linkages that are special to CPX
ZERO REGRETS on my CPX only "trouble" was main gear stripped while entering Idle up mode.. installed Blade400 gear direct fit.
I fly it AS IS OUT THE BOX zero adjustments..

Something like this MD530 would probably be a better fit and lower weight

Great! That is pretty much exactly what i wanted to hear about it... i've been back and fourth for awhile now and once i saw the CPX i knew that was what i wanted to get, just needed to hear from someone that they are happy with it.
I'll have to look into getting a blade400 main gear for it for future need... i am planning on ordering some other spare parts when i order the heli, learned from the past when i first got my hb v2 that its good to have a stock pile.
Anything you would recommend picking up right away? I was planning on feathering shafts and fly bars along with a set of carbon fiber 325mm blades as the first set of things to order...

I have not needed anything except main gear, did pick up some 325 Align blades from LHS just for kicks.. stock blades are fine..
wont be long and I will need to take some play out of the head.. the dampners are wearing but still flies great..

batteries!! I run the Blue Lipos from Hobbypartz. I put 4mm Bullets on the ESC to match batteries.
I have 6 batteries, fly till my neck is sore... LOVE it I am getting a green one when they get in stock

great flight suburban92.think your well past needing the training skids.pop em off and enjoy a much more adgile heli  the landing looked a little bumpy but try stopping to a hover and slowly bring her in..saved the bounces and skids flexing when the ground pops up
exerlent video :noteworthy

Thanks for the good words, about the flight.. I am still very much a begineer and the training gear also help with visibility
