Greetings,

First off, I'm a newbie with a TREX 450 learning to hover and basic stuff. What head speed should I be using? Once I get past that what head speeds should I be looking at? Is there a recommended speed for trainer, sport, 3D, and INSANE ??? :-)

While I'm thinking about it, what is the minimum head speed one should consider?

Best Regards,
The Dude

start with your throttle curve at 50% midstick, and zero pitch also at midstick.
Enter a hover, if the heli "Nods" (wobbles) you don't have enough headspeed. If it does not, fly it.
Increase headspeed by nudging the throttle curve up at midstick.

50% sounds pretty low. I run 80% at mid stick in normal. 90 or 95 in idle up.
